Estimating Department to Focus on World-Class Customer Service
Made up of dedicated and passionate individuals who take pride in the details of customer specifications, estimating and system layout design, Talos Engineered Products is thrilled to introduce our department of Estimating Engineers.
With over 6 years of experience with Talos Engineered Products and spending a year with our newest European division, this department is led by J.R. Clemons. “J.R. brings a wealth of Talos’ knowledge into this role, along with years of project management and estimating experience,” says Talos’ Vice President of Engineering, Jathan Richard.
Our estimating team is relied on to utilize the Talos proprietary software, Ichor3D, developing conveyor layouts and drawings that will support the customer needs, while also utilizing their knowledge of Talos products, manufacturing processes and procurement processes to provide quotes and estimates for our full array of products.
“I have been with Talos for over 7 years now, and recently made the move to the estimating team as department manager,” says Clemons. “It’s a perfect fit for me and it has been a pleasure working with the team thus far. I am thrilled to see what we will accomplish as we continue to grow.”

In fact, there is a direct correlation between the two. “The more we understand the customer’s needs, the more positioned we are to create a product to meet that criterion,” says Richard.
