With over 11 years at Talos, Wayne serves as President, leading the company with a focus on purpose, people, and growth. A Nashville native, he holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, completed graduate coursework at Belmont University, and earned an executive certification in Mergers & Acquisitions from the University of Chicago.

Wayne joined Talos for its mission-driven culture and has helped grow the company from a small operation into a thriving organization. He believes leadership is about serving others by removing barriers and equipping teams to succeed. Under his leadership, Talos has remained committed to community impact, earning the Middle Tennessee Governor’s Volunteer Star Award.

EVP of Finance and Operations

Clayton Joyce serves as Executive Vice President of Operations & Finance at Talos Engineered Products and has been a key part of the organization for nine years. He oversees manufacturing operations, supply chain, and finance. A Chapel Hill native, Clayton holds a B.S. in Accounting.

Clayton began his career in public accounting with LBMC in Nashville, where he spent seven years serving manufacturing clients. He was drawn to Talos by its purpose-driven mission and the opportunity to help scale the company while working alongside a strong team.

To Clayton, leadership is built on trust, collaboration, and contributing where his skills can create the greatest impact. He is proud to have played a role in Talos’ continued growth and remains focused on supporting the people and purpose that drive the company forward.

VP of People and Culture

Marie LaLonde serves as Vice President of People & Culture at Talos Engineered Products and has been a vital part of the organization for 14 years. Originally from Lakeland, Florida, she holds a certification from Marshall Leadership and leads efforts focused on company culture, training, safety, and employee development.

Marie joined Talos after a 22-year career in Risk Management with Publix Super Markets, Inc., initially seeking a part-time role but quickly discovering a passion for building the company and investing in its people. She is especially proud of her work strengthening Talos’ culture, expanding community outreach, and launching programs such as Hope Ministries and Men of Valor.

Marie believes leadership is rooted in learning, growth, and service, and she remains deeply committed to making a positive impact both within Talos and throughout the community.

VP of Engineering

Jathan Richard has been with Talos Engineered Products for 14 years and serves as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing Project Engineering, New Product Development, and Software Development. He has played a key role in driving innovation and supporting Talos’ continued growth.

Jathan’s background spans the automotive, residential, and commercial architectural industries, along with experience as a business owner. He began his journey with Talos through its sister company, DCS, and was the first engineer to join Talos when it became an independent organization.

What motivates Jathan most is the opportunity to live out Talos’ mission daily — showing how business can improve lives and love others. He believes leadership is rooted in service and in creating an environment where people can grow personally and professionally. Guided by Talos’ values of living the Golden Rule and continuous learning, Jathan is committed to developing teams who care deeply about their work, one another, and the mission they serve.

VP of Manufacturing Operations

Ron Lewis serves as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Talos Engineered Products and has led operations for the past seven years. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and Industrial Technology with a minor in Aviation Management.

Ron brings extensive experience from the aerospace industry, along with automotive manufacturing, and was drawn to Talos by its authentic, people-centered culture. He believes leadership is both a responsibility and a privilege — leading by example, investing in others, and creating opportunities for growth.

Ron is most proud of the positive impact he has had on employees’ lives and the role his team plays in supporting Talos’ community outreach efforts. VP of Products and Execution

Nick Olson is Vice President of Products and Execution at Talos Engineered Products, leading Estimating, Project Management, and Field Services. He brings 28 years of experience in the material handling industry, with a background spanning mechanical engineering, automation, and sales.

Nick was drawn to Talos by its strong values and people-first culture, which align closely with his own. He is proud of the long-standing, trust-based relationships he has built with customers throughout his career and believes leadership is about setting clear direction, building trust, and empowering teams to succeed.

Originally from Minnesota, Nick holds an associate degree in mechanical drafting and engineering. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, and raising and showing cattle at National Simmental shows.

VP of ERP and Business Technology

Scott LaChapell has been with Talos Engineered Products for seven years, leading ERP Process Development and IT/IS. Originally from Livermore, California, Scott brings a diverse background in manufacturing, ERP management, and entrepreneurship.

Scott began his career in automotive manufacturing before moving into ERP leadership for an organic and natural foods company. He later built and operated his own manufacturing business for 12 years, which he sold in 2017. He joined Talos in 2018, drawn by the challenge of strengthening ERP systems and the authentic culture shared across Talos and its sister companies.

Scott is especially proud of helping transform ERP from a necessary burden into a trusted, automated system embraced company-wide. He believes leadership is about empowering and supporting teams through any challenge and is guided by Talos’ core values of Innovate and Live the Golden Rule as he helps enable the company’s continued growth.

Director of Project Execution

Scott Ellis has been with Talos Engineered Products for 10 years and serves as Director of Project Execution, leading the Project Execution and Inside Sales teams. A Nashville native, Scott brings more than 20 years of manufacturing industry experience, with a background spanning customer service, engineering, sales, technical writing, and project management.

Scott was drawn to Talos by its strong reputation for culture and people and values the collaborative, team-first environment. He is proud to have witnessed both company and employee growth over the years and believes leadership is about listening, supporting others, and helping teams succeed.

Under Scott’s leadership, the Project Execution team focuses on clear communication, effective planning, and strong processes to consistently deliver high-quality products on time.

Strategic Planning Analyst

Amanda has been with Talos Engineered Products for four years, supporting manufacturing operations, supply chain, and finance through strategic planning. A Lewisburg native, she holds certifications in Market & Competitive Intelligence and Advanced Strategy from Chicago Booth.

Amanda brings prior experience from the aerospace and defense industry and was drawn to Talos by its values-based culture, faith-centered foundation, and commitment to community engagement. She believes leadership is about serving others and empowering teams to grow through trust, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Guided by Talos’ core value of Serve, Amanda contributes daily by supporting strategic initiatives, sharing knowledge, and investing in people and community impact.

Director of Supply Chain

Chris Ray has been with Talos Engineered Products for 22 years and serves as Director of Supply Chain, overseeing purchasing and supplier relationships to support efficient operations. His long tenure reflects a deep commitment to Talos’ growth and success.

Chris joined Talos during its early days as part of DCS and was drawn to the company’s close-knit, family-oriented culture — a quality that has remained central as Talos has grown. He values the people and collaborative environment most and believes leadership is rooted in listening, alignment, and teamwork.

Through open communication and strong partnerships, Chris continues to play a key role in supporting Talos’ mission and long-term success.

Director of Field Services

Danny LaLonde has served as Director of Field Services at Talos Engineered Products for eight years, leading field operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer support. Based in Kathleen, Florida, he holds OSHA 30 and CGTP certifications.

Danny brings a diverse background in electrical work, equipment maintenance, and project management. He was drawn to Talos by its collaborative, people-first culture and commitment to community impact. He is especially proud of the growth of the Field Services team and the expansion of Talos’ customer base.

Guided by the principle of living the Golden Rule, Danny believes leadership means leading by example, supporting others, and helping teams succeed. Under his direction, Field Services plays a critical role in ensuring Talos solutions are installed and operating at peak performance in customer facilities.

Director of Business Development and Marketing

Tony Santora serves as Director of Business Development & Marketing at Talos Engineered Products and has been with the company for three years. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he brings industry experience across automation and material handling.

Tony was drawn to Talos by its strong emphasis on culture and values, recognizing early on that the company prioritizes people and purpose alongside performance. He is proud to have been awarded the CSS MHI Industry Leadership Program Scholarship in 2024 and looks forward to continuing to grow as a leader.

Tony believes leadership is about setting the example and helping others become their best. Guided by Talos’ core value of Own It, he emphasizes accountability, learning from mistakes, and moving forward with integrity.

Sales Engineer

Tonya Breidenbach is a Sales Engineer at Talos Engineered Products, supporting the Business Development & Marketing team. She brings 30 years of experience across engineering, manufacturing, and material handling, along with a strong background in technical education.

Before joining Talos, Tonya worked in both technical education and multiple manufacturing industries, including a decade in the material handling industry.  She was drawn to Talos after seeing firsthand how the team lives out its mission and values in the way they serve customers and each other.

Tonya contributes by partnering closely with Engineering and Business Development to help customers solve material-handling challenges through thoughtful design and efficient solutions. She believes leadership means serving others and leading by example.

Originally from Tiffin, Ohio, Tonya holds associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with loved ones. Fun fact: she has 13 brothers and sisters.

Marketing Manager

Caroline Holley has been with Talos Engineered Products for five years, bringing creativity, strategy, and energy to the team. A Marshall County High School graduate (2018), she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University in just 2.5 years, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism with double minors in Marketing and Communication.

In addition to her role at Talos, Caroline is an entrepreneur and owner of Made for Chandler Embroidery, a children’s embroidery business named after her daughter. Her creative mindset and business experience influence her approach at Talos, where she enjoys planning the unexpected and finding new ways to help the company stand out within the material handling industry.

Caroline believes leadership isn’t defined by a title, but by character. She brings that philosophy to her work each day — blending professionalism with creativity, having fun with her role, and helping shape a brand that reflects Talos’ culture, people, and purpose.

Business Development Manager

Derek Fehr has been with Talos Engineered Products for just over one year and brings eight years of experience in material handling and intralogistics. Originally from Morris, Minnesota, he serves in a business development leadership role focused on customer relationships and growth.

Derek’s background includes leadership positions at TGW America, Carter Intralogistics, Carolina Handling, and McCue Corporation, where he developed strong expertise in sales leadership, automation solutions, and warehouse systems. He was drawn to Talos by its culture and people-first approach.

Derek is proud of earning President’s Club honors three consecutive years early in his career. He believes leadership is about setting a clear vision, empowering others, and being accountable, and he strongly aligns with Talos’ core value of Serve through servant leadership and community impact.

Business Development Manager

Seth Johnson is a Business Development Manager at Talos Engineered Products, supporting the Sales & Marketing team. He has spent the last four years growing his career at Talos and within the material handling industry.

Seth joined Talos straight out of college and completed his master’s degree during his first year with the company. He was drawn to Talos as a place to learn, grow, and develop early in his career, and values the company’s commitment to improving lives through both its equipment and service to local communities.

Starting on the shop floor as a brake press operator, Seth has grown into his current role through hands-on experience and mentorship. He believes leadership means stepping in wherever needed to support the team and strongly resonates with Talos’ “Get Things Done” value.

Originally from Olive Branch, Mississippi, Seth holds degrees in Healthcare Management and Healthcare Administration. Outside of work, he enjoys boating and lake time, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two children. He also volunteers as a middle school football coach in his local community.

Business Development Manager

Dan Voris serves as a Business Development Manager in the Sales Department at Talos Engineered Products and has been with the company for over a year and a half. Originally from Martinsville, Indiana, Dan brings five years of sales experience focused on growth and relationship-building.

Before joining Talos, Dan held business development and regional sales leadership roles with an AGV company in Houston, Texas, and previously spent eight years as an event producer, building strong skills in communication, project management, and client engagement. He was drawn to Talos by its people-first culture and shared values across the Diakonia companies.

Dan believes leadership is about removing obstacles so teams can succeed and takes pride in representing Talos as a trusted, solutions-focused partner. He sees the sales team as the front line of the company and is committed to creating a positive, seamless experience for every customer interaction.
