At Talos Engineered Products, we are dedicated to fostering a spirit of collaboration, growth and well-being within our community, ensuring that together, we can build a brighter future for younger generations. With this goal in mind, we partnered with several local industries, organizations and individuals to host the most thrilling back-to-school event of the summer: The Marshall County Back-To-School Backpack Bash.

What is the Marshall County Back-To-School Backpack Bash?

The Marshall County Back-To-School Backpack Bash is a fun-filled, community-driven event designed to provide Marshall County students and their families with backpacks, school supplies and excitement to kick off the 2024-2025 school year. Local industries, organizations and individuals came together to also provide a free movie at Lewisburg’s Hi-Way 50 Drive-In Theater, free food, children’s games and activities such as bounce houses, face painting and more.

Event Highlights

Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway: Thanks to the generous donations from local businesses, organizations and individuals, this event was able to provide 500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies. From notebooks and pencils to rulers and art suppliers, we had it all covered.

Fun Activities and Games: The Back-To-School Backpack Bash featured a variety of children’s activities such as face painting, corn-hole, bounce houses and other interactive games designed to entertain children and their families before the movie began.

Food and Refreshments: Waste Management of Lewisburg, Tennessee provided refreshments and hotdogs for over 500 children and their families. Thanks to their support and volunteering throughout the night, individuals were able to enjoy a night of free dinner for their families.

How to Get Involved in 2025

Overall, the Marshall County Back-To-School Backpack Bash was more than just a giveaway of free school supplies; it was a celebration of community and education. Local organizations, industries and individuals were able to come together outside of work to organize a great event to give back to the local community.

We invite everyone in our community to get involved to continue to make the Back-To-School Backpack Bash a success. Here are a few ways our local community and businesses can help next year:

Donate: We are always in need of school supplies, backpacks and financial contributions. Every donation makes a difference.
